Coming together from a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences, our skilled team of volunteers is the backbone of Fern Bluff PTA. Our ideas help shape the direction and mission of our organization as it continues to develop.
Hi! I am mom to the bravest second grader, Will, and a full of personality Kindergartener, Andrew and wife to Matt. I love to write, travel, spend my evenings at Camp Gladiator, and work hard at educating our communities on autism.
PTA gives me a way to invest in my children's lives and those who pour time into their development. Volunteering gives me the opportunity to use my unique perspective to promote inclusion and help everyone feel connected to their school community. I am excited to serve Fern Bluff as president this year and look forward to a wonderful year!
VP of Fundraising
Angie Hubert is this year's VP of Fundraising. Angie is mom to Joshua, Jr. who is going in to 3rd grade and wife to Josh. Originally from Chicago, the Hubert family moved to Round Rock when Joshua, Jr. was in kindergarten, landed in Stone Canyon by chance and fell in love with the Fern Bluff community. Angie works full time in talent development at a software company and in her spare time is a regular at Camp Gladiator.
VP of Services
I am Nichole. I have lived in the Round Rock area for seven years. I enjoy being creative and usually have many projects going on at one time. I have two girls, Emma who is in second grade and Hannah who is four years old. We enjoy cooking together as a family.
I volunteer because I enjoy being involved and role modeling having input in subject matter that is really important to me, our school. I hope to continue and build upon the community that is established at Fern Bluff.
I am a CPA specializing in not-for-profit clients. I am also mother to a sassy 4th grader, Cara, and wife to Sean. I moved to Texas under duress 16 years ago and now wouldn't live anywhere else. I volunteer because I enjoy the "boots on the ground" feeling of helping Cara's education and our community school. This is my second year serving as PTA treasurer. When I'm not crunching the numbers, you can find me hiking, knitting, volunteering at the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter, or lounging around with my absolutely worthless Greyhound, Pre.
Our family of 4 moved to the area from San Francisco a year ago and have been slowing getting acclimated to the heat and bugs since then.
With my eldest going into kindergarten this year I was looking for a way to learn and serve in our new school community alongside him, and PTA seemed like the perfect avenue. I’m looking forward to a year of learning and growth.
